The PCP Cancer Awareness Team have released their new workshops for July.
This month the team are focusing on head and neck cancer awareness, with workshops spread throughout the month. Head and neck cancer is the seventh most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, which is easily treated if found at an early stage.
Other sessions include lung cancer, prostate cancer, being safe in the sun, cervical screening awareness and more.
By attending one of their workshops, you can discover the symptoms to watch out for and how to reduce your risk. To attend, you have to live or work in County Durham, with the option for both individuals and groups to attend. All workshops are via Microsoft Teams.
