30 hours per week, fixed term until December 2021
Band 3, Point 5 £18,683 rising Band 4, Point 7 £19,584 once qualified and competent.
To apply set based community development, engagement and consultation techniques as appropriate to engage target groups/individuals.
To work with existing groups to identify and engage with individuals from the community in need of support.

Befriending Project Officer
Pioneering Care Centre, with significant outreach work/home working
18 hours per week, fixed term until 31 July 2021
PCP Band 3, £18,683, per annum, pro rota
To support PCP's Befriending Project which supports adults at risk of isolation in County Durham, by providing short-term support aimed at promoting independence, increasing confidence and encouraging community involvement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, good organisational and time management skills. They have experience of working with or supporting people in community settings and have an understanding of factors affecting health and wellbeing and a knowledge of health and lifestyle issues across County Durham.
