Join our 'Wellbeing for the Time Being' service

A new perioperative service is set to launch in County Durham from Wellbeing for Life.

The Wellbeing for Life Service operates across County Durham and supports people to improve their health and wellbeing.

The service is a partnership between County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust (CDDFT), and the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP).

The new 'Wellbeing for the Time Being' service, is a programme that will seek to support patients on waiting lists for elective surgery or cancer treatment, by delivering an initiative and programme for patients to become as mentally and physically well as possible, to prepare them for their surgery, treatment and/or recovery.

To support this exciting new pilot service, there are three opportunities available, with one from PCP and two from the NHS.

PCP are seeking a 'Wellbeing for the Time Being' Capacity Building Training Officer, who will support the lead of the service and develop training opportunities for those referred to the service.

The CDDFT are recruiting a Advanced Wellbeing Practitioner and a Advanced Practitioner Coordinator. There is only a limited time period to apply for these opportunities and work on this exciting new programme in County Durham.

For further information on any career opportunities at PCP, visit our vacancies page.
