Stockton COVID Community Champions announced as finalists in upcoming awards!

The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) are pleased to announce that the Stockton-on-Tees COVID Community Champions (SCCC) have been recognised as finalists in the upcoming Catalyst Conference and Achievements Awards 2021.


Nominated for 'Innovation as a Result of COVID-19', the team are thrilled to be identified for their work in spreading Public Health England's key messages, myth-busting and empowering local residents to engage with up to date information and advice surrounding COVID-19.


Set to take place on Friday 12th November, the team will be attending the awarding event to discover the results at the Oakwood Centre, Cleasby Way, Eaglescliffe, TS16 0RD.

The SCCC team are up against other fantastic organisations, including the Sprouts Community Food Charity and Tees Valley Music Alliance. The event will truly showcase leading inspirational work taking place across the North East.


The categories of the Awards, reflect the work has been undertaken during the COVID-19 pandemic and shines light on both individuals and organisations as a whole.


Further categories in the Awards are 'Outstanding Achievement in the Business Sector', 'Outstanding Achievement in the Public Sector', 'Young Volunteer of the Year', 'Volunteer of the Year' and 'Outstanding for a VCSE Organisation'.
