PCP shortlisted as Most Inspiring Employer (medium organisation) category at the North East Chamber of Commerce Business Awards:

This year's awards celebrate inspiring females - with a fantastic and diverse selection of leading organisations and individuals shortlisted. PCP is proud to be shortlisted amongst shining stars in the region and offer our staff 60 minutes (pro-rata) paid weekly wellbeing time, a menopause support group and emotional support through PAM Assist and private counselling as they need. You can discover full shortlisting information here.

PCP volunteer and 'befriender', Jean Griffiths, shortlisted as Charity Champion at the North East Charity Awards:

Jean goes above and beyond for PCP - she supports our Befriending Services and leads our Befriending Group at the Pioneering Care Centre in Newton Aycliffe. The Befriending Group has an established attendance of around 16 people, with all enjoying activities Jean provides including a quiz and more! The group offers an opportunity for people of all ages to connect, build on confidence and make friends.

The North East Charity Awards is set to take place next week - Jean is already a winner in our eyes! Find out more about the awards here.
