Meet PCP's Mental Health First Aiders

As part of Pioneering Care Partnership's (PCP) ongoing mission to support staff and the community with their mental health needs, we are pleased to introduce our team of Mental Health First Aiders.

As it's #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek we want to shine light on the importance of supporting our staff and the local community with all their health and wellbeing needs, whether these be physical health or/and mental health needs.

So far PCP has five Mental Health First Aiders, who have all completed a relevant course with successful qualification on how to deliver support in this area.

The team will be available to communicate and support other members of PCP across the North East, should they feel they need advice, a catch up or a chat. Although many of us are still currently working virtually, our Mental Health First Aiders are only an email or a phone call away.

Once events begin to return to the Pioneering Care Centre and other sites across the North East, you may spot one of our Mental Health First Aiders.

If you are seeking mental health support, there is always a person waiting to listen to you. You can call Samaritans on 116 123.
