When Chris decided to begin his weight loss journey, he knew lasting results would require more than medication alone. Struggling with day-to-day activities and feeling the impact of excess weight on many aspects of his life, he chose to use weight loss injections alongside support from Wellbeing for Life to help make sustainable lifestyle changes.
With guidance from his Wellbeing Practitioner, Sharon, Chris focused on building healthier habits that would continue long after his treatment ended. Starting with simple daily walks and gradually progressing to regular gym sessions, he increased his activity levels at a pace that worked for him. Through weekly appointments, he also gained valuable knowledge about nutrition, portion sizes, healthy eating and achieving balance without feeling deprived.
Over time, Chris transformed both his mindset and lifestyle. Rather than relying solely on medication, he learned how to make informed food choices, enjoy treats in moderation and create routines that felt realistic and sustainable. The combination of practical support, personalised goal setting and ongoing encouragement helped him stay motivated throughout his journey.
The results have been life-changing. Chris has lost an incredible six stone and feels healthier, more active and more confident than ever before. He credits his success not just to weight loss treatment, but to the education, encouragement and lifestyle support he received from Wellbeing for Life.
Chris’s story highlights the importance of combining weight loss medication, where chosen, with healthy eating, physical activity and behaviour change support to achieve long-term success and maintain results for the future.
In the video below, Chris tells his story and reflects on his weight loss journey, highlighting how taking small steps led to big changes.
