Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) is thrilled to highlight a generous act of kindness from long-standing supporters Busy Bees, who have kindly donated a comfy sofa to its Options service - for adults with learning and physical disabilities.

This thoughtful addition is already making a difference, creating a warm, welcoming space where members can relax, connect, and feel at home.
Carol Gaskarth, Chief Executive of PCP, said: “We’re deeply grateful to Busy Bees for their continued generosity. Contributions like these go far beyond meeting practical needs; they help us create spaces that are safe, inclusive, and nurturing for everyone who relies on our services.
"We’re also incredibly thankful for the many local champions, like Busy Bees, whose ongoing support through donations and volunteering makes a lasting difference in our community.”
This isn’t the first time Busy Bees have stepped up to support Options members. In 2020, they donated £200, which helped purchase a large fridge freezer to support cooking sessions. In 2024 they gave £400, which funded a new smart TV for activities and entertainment.
Linda West, Options Services Coordinator, added: “We are so grateful to the Busy Bees, this sofa has made such a difference to us, a place for socialising, but also a place for peace in a busy day. Thank you for your support over the years, you have made a difference."
A heartfelt thank you to the Busy Bees team for helping make the Options room feel even more like home.
