Finding and treating cancer at an early stage can save lives. Cancer that’s diagnosed at an early stage, is more likely to be treated successfully. If cancer spreads, effective treatment becomes more difficult, and generally a person’s chances of surviving are much lower.

Be Clear on Cancer is a cancer awareness campaign led by Public Health England, working in partnership with the Department of Health and North Cancer Alliance. Its aim is to encourage people to take up their offer for screening of breast, cervical and bowel cancers.
