David, who was employed as a development worker with County Durham User and Carer Forum, has supported numerous organisations in the former Sedgefield Borough. Dave served as Vice Chairman of the Ferryhill Local Advisory Group, which a consultation forum, which was formed to discuss local health and social care needs from 1996 - 2001 and was involved with the Sedgefield Area Service User Project Physical Disabilities Task Group. After supporting the task group, Dave was invited by Social Services to look into solutions to problems regarding appropriate respite care for people with physical disabilities. Dave is currently Director of Ferryhill Youth Café and supports Sedgefield Borough Access Group and the Ferryhill Disability Partnership.
